As a member of the ASID UMass Dartmouth Student Chapter, you become part of both our campus community and the larger national ASID network. We are the UMass Dartmouth chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Our goal is to be a community for all civil engineering students to supplement the topics learned in the classroom and bring the department together as a community. Each year we participate in one of the yearly competitions sponsored by the national ASCE organization, as well as smaller events such as student conferences and other activities which suit the interests of our members.

ASCE meetings are held every Wednesday at 5:00pm in the ASCE Construction Lab, Violette 101b.

The Cape Verdean Student Association has been on this campus for over a decade. This organization was established to introduce the Cape Verdean Culture to the UMass Dartmouth Community. CVSA exists to provide Cape Verdean students, as well as non-Cape Verdean students, with a greater appreciation and understanding of the culture.
